> Web Interaction Design Consultant (WIDC)
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Web Interaction Design Consultant who excels at creating client-side interactions using (X)HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, will be responsible for implementing designs based on UE specifications. The Web Interaction Design Consultant will ideally have 5+ years of or intermediate skills in XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Skills/Experience Required:
- Must be able to deliver clean easy to use UI designs
- Must have experience with web usability and Human Factors in an enterprise level environment
- Must have experience gathering user requirements
- Must have experience working with XSL and XML
- Must have strong knowledge of CSS – must be able to create clean tableless designs
- Must be strong in creating and customizing scripting languages such as JavaScript
- Knowledge of browser compatibility issues when using JavaScript and CSS
- Intimate knowledge of current web standards
- Insight on user experience specifications
- Advanced interaction design skills (user flow diagrams and use cases)
- Requirements gathering and analysis skills
- Exceptional communication (verbal and written) skills are required
Ideal Candidate also has:
- Visual design skills (ability to create mockups in Photoshop)
- Enterprise level usability experience
- Localization experience
- Mobile experience
- Experience managing projects
- Experience working with CVS
- Experience working with Linux
- Experience working with N-Tier enterprise publishing system(s)
- Working knowledge of Section 508 Requirements
- Working knowledge of Information Architecture
- Experience writing and maintaining support documentation
- Bachelors Degree or Higher
This position requires occasional on-site collaboration with the development team in San Jose, CA.
