Description:
Business Analyst/Project Manager shall perform all duties hereunder in a professional, ethical, and businesslike manner.
Description of Deliverables:
- Process re-engineering/management
- Identify issues and recommend, as well as drive solutions
- Design, develop and implement complex business applications in a web environment
- Develop requirements documents that communicate relevant project information to both clients and technical staff, create process flows and procedures, and work with IS and business groups to design and implement solutions
- Create system interfaces and bridges between existing systems and business functions
- Create standalone user support documentation and training
Following is a desired skill level classification:
5 = Industry expert in skill/knowledge area
4 = Advanced in skill/knowledge area - teaches others
3 = Proficient in skill/knowledge area
2 = Learning skill/knowledge area / some experience
1 = Limited understanding of skill/knowledge area
Candidates' desired skill level on the items outlined below must be classified accordingly.
Knowledge:
(4) Business process mapping: have used an industry standard or proprietary company structured process methodology to conduct business process reengineering including; leading process data gathering work sessions to capture detailed process steps, capturing process metrics, determining tools and systems used, documenting detailed cross functional current state process maps, analyzing process to determine root cause process errors, failures or problems, developing future state processes to capitalize on identified process improvement opportunities & areas for risk management
(3) Project Management: have managed or lead medium to large projects including responsibility and accountability for project goal and objectives determination, scope development, management and control, project task and timeline schedule creation through use of work breakdown structures and logic diagrams, determination of assumptions and constraints, risk, communication, training and resource planning. Individual should be proficient enough to be given responsibility to drive the initial creation of all of the above project management and provide support to the project manager where required on day to day project execution and control, however overall management of project will be the accountability of the client project manager.
(3) IT: desirable that the individual has some experience in network design and or implementation, or has experience in implementation of ERP or CRM applications, e.g., Siebel, peopleSoft, SAP, Oracle etc. or have developed functional requirements documentation for web-based applications. The role will involve working with (i.e., providing requirements to) the IT and IPCC organization for set up of outsource provider location. This will not however be a large portion of the role.
(2-3) Contracts: desirable that the person has had experience working with contracts, i.e., creating individual services agreement documents, amendments to Statement of Work (SOW's), writing exhibits etc.
(4) Documentation: person needs to have created detailed training manuals, including step by step guidelines, FAQ's, creating screen shots, determining escalation and work flow paths etc.
(3) Change management (behavioral): have experience in using a structured change management model or working in/leading a project with significant positive and negative impact to multiple stakeholders

- (4) Internet: i.e., use of internet applications and the internet for research, document storage, communication etc.

Absolutely ideal would be for the person to have experience in managing or leading a track within an outsourcing project or have worked in a BPO company and/or to have worked on global projects with multiple remote locations and time zones.
At the very minimum they need to be very proficient and comfortable with conducting detailed process data collection interviews, mapping as is and to be processes, creating training documentation and being a go to person for less experienced analysts on the project
Work is reviewed and measured based on meeting objectives and schedules.
