This position is responsible for the overall delivery of client/partner strategic initiative(s), incl., planning, coordination and implementation of project plan(s). This includes the entire life cycle of a project from defining a strategy to developing a prototype, design, QA and implementation, providing technical support and direction, as needed. The Account / Project Manager (A/PM) will also be responsible for developing a project plan and ensures the development milestones. A/PM must ensure that the project implementation is consistent with the specifications, client's requirements and budget constraints. A/PM will act as the primary interface between JWAY and the client, and will identify and manage client expectations for deliverables throughout the project life cycle, including (when necessary) tactical execution. A/PM will also be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Web Development Project Consultants and/or other resources engaged in the given project/s, identifying task lists, communicating the requirements, and ensuring proper documentation of time, materials and workflow. The A/PM must be able to handle multiple projects while focused on the primary project.
The A/PM may be asked to assist the Business Development Manager develop and implement business plans and strategic marketing programs to increase sales in designated market segments, identify volume and strategic customers, and develop engagements and relationships.
Pre sale: Analysis of customer inquiries to determine scope and services required and pricing schedules; influencing production and delivery schedules; recommending price changes based on company/customer relationship; recognizing new business opportunities.
Post sale: Resolving production scheduling, delivery or invoicing problems; determining validity of warranty claims and scheduling repair resources; changing production and delivery schedules; and recognizing add-on business opportunities.
Work is reviewed and measured based on meeting objectives and schedules.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelors Degree or Higher
- Minimum of 4 years experience as a Project Manager in web based IT projects
- Proven experience working with business processes and web technologies in an internet/intranet environment
- Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills
- Work effectively with technical and business groups to design and implement solutions
- Ability to define processes and capture best practices
- Ability to identify issues as well as recommend and drive solutions
- Understanding of User Experience and User Interface design
- Understanding of relational databases and web technologies
- Familiarity with UML modeling tools i.e., Rational Rose or TogetherJ
- Must be proficient in standard desktop applications: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and Business Process Flow Modeling (Visio).
