Next generation web applications development framework
SPEED, AGILITY & CUSTOMER SATISFACTION: How important are these to you in conducting your business? JWAY gives these top priority.
Since 1997, JWAY has continuously invested in R&D resources to enable the creation of web applications that will result
in delivering services with speed and agility. Customer satisfaction has always been the ultimate goal. Today, JWAY prides
itself in its ability to do just that, deliver services with speed and agility, using a framework called XUI (eXtensible User Interface)*.
XUI looks at web applications from two important angles: content delivery and user experience. XUI allows web applications
engineers, developers, and UI (User Interface) designers to manage the delivery of content separate from the presentation.
This means that any change in content does not affect the UI and vice-versa. The framework supports the development of
standards-based, modular, embeddable, extensible and reusable UI components. The methods used for delivering the business
logic support the collaboration of industry standards that espouse exhaustive analysis and documentation tools. XUI shortens
the web application development effort by the nature of the modularity and reusability of the UI codes. Web applications
become flexible in terms of maintenance because of the extensibility of the components. To address usability and user
experience, XUI comes with "WebWindows" components giving web applications the traditional "Windows" look-and-feel, which
takes out most of the guesswork in UI design.
For the more technical audience, XUI is built around W3C XML standards. This allows for the standardization of creating UI components
across different systems and applications. The XUI framework integrates seamlessly with the J2EE application framework. XUI is
platform-independent and supports Web Services. It is global-ready utilizing industry standards in I18N and L10N. XUI provides the
ability to deliver multi-behavioral GUI (Graphical User Interface) and UE (User Experience) based on business rules and policies,
security and entitlement policies, P13N (Personalization), and more. It facilitates the development of web application GUI using web
standards such as DHTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript as well as standard web browsers
Today, JWAY uses XUI as part of its web development consulting practice. Experience web development as you have never
had before and see the immediate benefits from the speed of development, agility in maintenance, and ultimate customer
satisfaction from the user experience.
Watch out for our next release on XUI showing how it all works together!
